Intro to Printmaking

New to Printmaking? This course will explore several printing techniques including monoprinting, woodcut, screenprint and etching.
An introduction to the processes will begin with a visit to our Archive room, looking at examples from our collection. Prints by Dame Elizabeth Blackadder, Ken Currie, Christine Borland, Ashley Cook and Alasdair Gray are just some of the examples you can take a look at before trying the process for yourself through short taster evening sessions. One full day will be dedicated to etching.
