Ashley Cook is an artist who has specialised in printmaking since her college days at Glasgow School of Art in the 1980s. She has undertaken many international residencies, making and teaching printmaking in a wide range of countries.

Ashley creates complex montages, and in this exhibition she pulls together images that are a reflection on a childhood journeying between Scotland and England in the late 60s and 70s. Imprinted memories of family and notions of "Home" are observed retrospectively at a critical time for Scotland, poised as it is, on the brink of a monumental decision about its future.
