Dear Member,
I hope this email finds you and your loved ones safe, well, and coping okay with these extraordinary times.
I wanted to share a little information with you about our plans for a new GPS sales website.
We have been considering it for a while, and this seemed the right time to take it forward. I have been able to make some progress since coming off furlough, but it is still very much at a developmental stage.
One of the things we can achieve with a new build is to address how we better represent online the works of GPS members that we consign into gallery stock. To that end we will be developing better standard processes around the intake of prints so that we can get the information we need from you. Good quality images will be key. So perhaps this might be an opportunity for you to look at how you currently catalogue your work. We will give clear guidance on this later, and while I am not asking for images now, if this is an area of your practice where you feel you lack a little confidence and could benefit from some technical pointers, do feel free to contact me.

We are excited by the possibilities of the new site, and we are hopeful it will help our revenue generating activity in the future, and not least as we tentatively begin to plan for our return to public access.
We will update you as things develop, take good care of yourselves for now.
Kind regards,
James Murphy,
Gallery Manager.

Don't forget! We also offer OwnArt interest-free loans, allowing you to spread the cost of buying original artwork, making it easier and more affordable than ever before to purchase high quality works of art.
Once accepted, you pay in 10 monthly instalments. No interest, no catch - and you get to take home your purchases on the day!
Photography with thanks to Naomi Brown, Fiona Watson plus members and staff at GPS.
