Advanced Aquatint Etching 2 Day Course

This weekend course is all about aquatint; an etching process which enables you to create a wide ranging tonal effects in your prints from the very subtle to rich dark tones.

Throughout the 2 day course you will learn about step bite, sugar lift, spit bite, soap ground aquatint and multi-plate printing with lots of practical demonstrations and opportunity to try each process. The focus will be on learning and experimenting with each process allowing you to develop them further beyond the class. Previous etching experience required.
