Exhibition Runs: 04 October - 03 November
Preview: Thursday 03 October 2019, 6pm - 8pm (Trongate 103 1st Thursday)
A new series of works in woodcut and photopolymer gravure exploring psychogeography, nature and place, through the lens of non-linear time; where the past and the present can exist in the same moment. Where people who are lost reach through time and send us their words; where destinations for leisure and fun, fallen into disrepair, exist again with shining paint and happy laughter; where gentle clouds drifting overhead bear witness to the incredible and messy business of living through time.
Born in Edinburgh, Claire trained at Glasgow School of Art, receiving First Class honours in Fine Art Printmaking. She worked for several years at London Print Studio before becoming Workshop Manager at Glasgow Print Studio. She was also a part time lecturer in Printmaking at City of Glasgow College and Visiting Lecturer for Master of Letters Printmaking at Glasgow School of Art.
Her work has been shown in Berlin, New York, London, Milan and California.
